The Ipcress File
“The spy story of the century.”
High-level scientists keep vanishing, and the War Office wants to know who is behind it. The job falls to Harry Palmer (Michael Caine), a dry-witted intelligence officer who answers to Colonel Ross (Guy Doleman). Sidney J. Furie puts him under Major Dalby (Nigel Green), and the two men's wary dealings are where the film keeps its tension.
