The Irony of Fate, or Enjoy Your Bath!

On New Year's Eve in Moscow, Zhenya Lukashin (Andrey Myagkov) and his friends keep their yearly tradition of going to the public bathhouse, and the vodka and beer hit harder than usual. Eldar Ryazanov follows Zhenya as he wakes at Leningrad airport, takes a taxi to what he thinks is his own address, and lets himself in with his own key. Nadia Sheveleva (Barbara Brylska) comes home to find a stranger in her bed, and Zhenya is the one who has no idea where he is.
