The Jacket

“Terror has a new name.”

In 1992, Jack Starks (Adrien Brody), a Gulf War veteran with a head wound, is convicted of a killing he can't account for and sent to a Vermont hospital for the criminally insane. Dr. Thomas Becker (Kris Kristofferson) straps him into a straitjacket and slides him into a morgue drawer, and John Maybury follows Jack out of the dark into the future, where Jackie Price (Keira Knightley) waits. He learns the date of his own death, and he wants to know how to change it.
