Mowgli (Jason Scott Lee) grew up among wild animals in the Indian jungle, and he has never had to answer to anyone. Then he meets Kitty (Lena Headey), and the pull of her takes him out of the trees and into the company of people. Stephen Sommers sets Captain Boone (Cary Elwes) against him, a man who wants Kitty and the treasure of Monkey City, which only Mowgli can find.
