The Jungle Book

(2016)Directed by Jon Favreau106 min · PGAdventure, Family, Fantasy
“The legend comes to life.”

Shere Khan (Idris Elba) has promised to kill the man-cub, so Mowgli (Neel Sethi) has to leave the wolves who raised him and cross the jungle. Bagheera (Ben Kingsley), the panther, is meant to lead him out, until the bear Baloo (Bill Murray) turns up and starts talking him into stopping for honey. Favreau fills the trees with painted-looking animals. What grows between boy and bear is the heart of the trip.
