The Kid

(2019)Directed by Vincent D'Onofrio100 min · RWestern, Drama, Action
“It only matters the story they tell when you're gone”

New Mexico Territory, 1880. Rio Cutler (Jake Schur) and his older sister Sara (Leila George) leave home after a misfortune and head for Santa Fe, only to cross paths with Billy the Kid (Dane DeHaan) and his gang, with Sheriff Pat Garrett (Ethan Hawke) and his posse riding hard behind. Vincent D'Onofrio directs it as a western of dust and sun-faded country, and the grain of the picture gives it the look of an older decade.
