Harold Hickory (Harold Lloyd) runs the household chores while his father and two older brothers, Jim (Walter James), Leo (Leo Willis) and Olin (Olin Francis), carry the town's respect. When Mary Powers (Jobyna Ralston) arrives in town, he has to find some way to be taken seriously by both his family and her. Ted Wilde and Lloyd co-directed this silent comedy from 1927, and it rests on a young man who has never been the one anyone counts on.
