The Killing of Two Lovers

Early in the film, David (Clayne Crawford) stands over two sleeping people with a gun, and then walks away without using it. He lives in a small Utah town, separated from his wife Niki (Sepideh Moafi), who has started seeing Derek (Chris Coy), while their four kids move between the two houses. Robert Machoian follows the two of them through ordinary exchanges in doorways and driveways, where it stays unclear how much of the old marriage remains.
