“All hail.”

In fifteenth-century England, Hal (Timothée Chalamet) lives among ordinary people, far from his father's court, and wants no part of it. David Michôd, adapting several of Shakespeare's history plays, follows him as circumstances push the throne toward him. Hal accepts it reluctantly, and as Henry V he has Falstaff (Joel Edgerton) beside him and a kingdom to hold together.
