The King and I

(1999)Directed by Richard Rich87 min · GAnimation, Family, Music, Romance
“The All New Animated Family Spectacular Adapted From The Musical By Rodgers And Hammerstein”

In Siam, in the court of King Mongkut, a widowed Welsh mother named Anna Leonowens (Miranda Richardson) arrives to tutor the king's wives and his many children. The king (Martin Vidnovic) is stubborn, Anna is not much softer, and the lessons in English customs and etiquette start as a contest of wills. Richard Rich animates it as a musical, with Anna hurrying to ready a party for the European diplomats.
