(1980)Directed by Paul Grimault83 minAnimation, Family, Fantasy

A shepherdess and a chimneysweep, two painted figures who have fallen for each other, plan to run from a tyrant king who wants her for himself. Their ally is the Mockingbird (Jean Martin), the king's sworn enemy, quick with a trick and never short of cheek. Paul Grimault gives them an oversized palace to flee through, and the two of them keep hold of each other's hands.
