The King of Algiers

Omar (Reda Kateb), known in the underworld as Omar the Strawberry, has to flee France and settle in Algeria, where he lives off petty crime with his old sidekick Roger (Benoît Magimel). Elias Belkeddar, in his first feature, follows two men who ran the French criminal world for decades and now have to work out a quieter life. They have always known how to fight and drink together, but not how to sit across from each other with nothing left to take.
