The Kings of Summer

“Why live when you can rule.”

Three teenagers vanish from their parents' houses at the start of summer, and nobody can say where they've gone. Joe Toy (Nick Robinson) and Patrick Keenan (Gabriel Basso) have built a house of their own in a hidden clearing in the woods, with the odd Biaggio (Moisés Arias) tagging along. Jordan Vogt-Roberts shoots the woods in warm, hazy light and keeps Nick Offerman's grumbling father close at hand.
