“The end of an era. The beginning of everything else.”

Elle Evans (Joey King) has one summer left before college and two acceptance letters she hasn't told anyone about. One is from Harvard, where her boyfriend Noah Flynn (Jacob Elordi) is headed, and the other is from Berkeley, where her best friend Lee (Joel Courtney) is going. Vince Marcello keeps the camera in the bright, loud last stretch of those friendships, with the choice sitting underneath every beach day.
