The Kitchen

“It's not a man's world anymore.”

In 1978 Hell's Kitchen, the FBI sends three mobsters to prison, and their wives, Kathy Brennan (Melissa McCarthy), Ruby O'Carroll (Tiffany Haddish) and Claire Walsh (Elisabeth Moss), are left with rent due and no one to answer to. They start running the Irish mob's rackets themselves, and prove better at the work than the men were. Andrea Berloff's film puts the neighborhood's power in the hands of the women who were left behind.
