The Kitchen

“Strong roots grow in unlikely places”

In a near-future London where housing has been squeezed down to a single estate, the people who live in The Kitchen are the last ones left. Izi (Kane Robinson) is close to getting out, with one more application between him and a place of his own. Then Benji (Jedaiah Bannerman), a boy Izi has no claim on, walks into his life, and the two have to work out what they are to each other.
