The Krays

“When people are afraid of you... you can do anything. Remember that.”

Two identical boys grow up in east London under Violet Kray (Billie Whitelaw), a mother who dotes on them and hates the world in equal measure. Peter Medak follows Ronnie (Gary Kemp) and Reggie (Martin Kemp) from the back streets to the East End clubs they come to rule, with Ronnie's violence setting the pace. Underneath the glamour is a plain question of loyalty: how far a family's love can bend two men.
