The Kremlin Letter

“World War III... in an envelope!”

Charles Rone (Patrick O'Neal), a young naval officer, is pulled into a job nobody will admit to: finding an unauthorized letter that has gone to Moscow, one that suggests American backing for a Russian attack on China. John Huston puts him on a team of undercover operatives in the Cold War winter of 1969, among them Ward (Richard Boone). If the letter stays in Soviet hands, two of the world's largest powers may be pushed toward war.
