The Lady Vanishes

“Is anything what it seems?”

Iris Carr (Tuppence Middleton), a young socialite traveling home alone by train, wants only to get across Europe in one piece. She strikes up a friendship with Miss Froy (Selina Cadell), an older Englishwoman, and then wakes from a nap to find her gone. Diarmuid Lawrence keeps Iris in the narrow carriage with the passengers who swear Miss Froy never existed, their faces turned toward her.
