The Lake House

“How do you hold on to someone you've never met?”

The architect Alex Wyler (Keanu Reeves) finds a note in the mailbox of the glass house on stilts he has just moved into, left by a previous tenant, though no one has lived there for years. He writes back, and Dr. Kate Forster (Sandra Bullock) answers, the two of them trading letters through that one mailbox. Alejandro Agresti sets them on a collision course, and the closer they come to meeting, the more it threatens to cost them.
