The Last 10 Years

“Inspired by her true story.”

Matsuri Takabayashi (Nana Komatsu) is twenty when a doctor tells her she has ten years left, and she settles on a plan to live lightly and never fall in love. Then she goes to a school reunion and meets Kazuto Manabe (Kentaro Sakaguchi), and the plan has nothing to hold onto. Michihito Fujii lets the story run across the years, with Komatsu's face, quiet and slightly lowered, left in the frame.
