The Last Castle

“A castle can only have one king.”

Lt. Gen. Eugene Irwin (Robert Redford) arrives at a military prison as a court-martialed general who wants nothing except to serve out his sentence quietly. Col. Winter (James Gandolfini), the warden, runs the place his own way, and Irwin cannot stand by while twelve hundred inmates answer to it. Rod Lurie sets the two men against each other inside the stone walls of a prison modeled on Fort Leavenworth.
