“If bad people hurt someone you love, how far would you go to hurt them back?”

Mari Collingwood (Sara Paxton) skips an evening with her parents at the family's remote lake house and goes into town with her friend Paige instead. By night's end the two teenagers are in the hands of Krug (Garret Dillahunt), a fugitive who travels with his family. Dennis Iliadis lets a thunderstorm gather over the lake house, where John (Tony Goldwyn) and Emma (Monica Potter) wait for a daughter who hasn't come home.
