Michael Rivers (Mathis Landwehr) is a fighter drawn into an underground martial arts tournament by the promise of money and redemption. He faces off against seasoned opponents including the mysterious Ron Hall (Matthias Hues) and trains under Master Loren (Billy Blanks), a mentor who believes Rivers can turn his life around. The kumite is the last of its kind, and if Rivers loses, everything he has wagered goes with him.
