“There is a time to die and a time not to”

A Hollywood western finishes shooting in a Peruvian village in 1971, and the crew packs up and leaves. Kansas (Dennis Hopper), a stuntman and wrangler, stays on with Maria (Stella Garcia), and the villagers begin staging their own version of the movie with sticks and rope. Dennis Hopper directs it as a drift through the village, Kansas left alone with whatever the crew left behind.
