“You're what's for dinner.”

Peter Benton (James Franciscus), a horror author, wants someone in this seaside resort to take a 35-foot great white seriously before more swimmers go into the water. Mayor William Wells (Joshua Sinclair) won't close the beaches, not with a run for governor underway, so Peter teams up with Ron Hamer (Vic Morrow), a local shark hunter. Enzo G. Castellari's film puts hundreds of tourists in the surf and only two men trying to clear it.
