The Last Sunset

“When giants clash, a woman trembles!”

Brendan O'Malley (Kirk Douglas) is a fugitive who rides onto a Mexican ranch with Sheriff Dana Stribling (Rock Hudson) on his trail. Both men agree to help the rancher John Breckenridge (Joseph Cotten) drive his herd into Texas, where Stribling can finally make a legal arrest. Robert Aldrich sets the long cattle drive against open, sun-washed country and keeps the two men within arm's reach of each other.
