The Last Vermeer

Amsterdam, just after the war, and Joseph Piller (Claes Bang), a soldier who fought in the Dutch resistance, is put on the trail of stolen art. His search leads to a Vermeer that went to the Nazis and to Han van Meegeren (Guy Pearce), the flamboyant painter who sold it. Dan Friedkin sets the two men across from each other in van Meegeren's lavish house, where the questions are polite and neither of them trusts the other.
