The Last Warning

“Who killed John Woodford?”

The ghost of a dead actor is sending threats to stop an old Broadway play from reopening in the theater where he died. Doris Terry (Laura La Plante) and the company arrive to revive the production anyway, with director Paul Leni dressing the empty house in shadow and painted scenery. If the show goes on, every one of them is standing in the dead man's theater.
