The Last Woman
“Love. Hate. Loneliness. Humor. Sensuality. Nothing will prepare you for the devastating climax.”
In France in 1976, Gérard (Gérard Depardieu), a young engineer, is left alone with his baby son after his wife walks out. He takes a girl named Valérie (Ornella Muti) into his home, and the two begin a relationship that Marco Ferreri films at close range. The household is small and fragile, with a child to feed and a man who has no idea how to be what he is now.
