The Leech Woman

(1960)Directed by Edward Dein77 minHorror, Science Fiction
“She drained men of their loves and lives!”

June Talbot (Coleen Gray) is a middle-aged woman whose drinking and whose age have worn her marriage to the endocrinologist Paul (Phillip Terry) down to bitterness. The couple travels to Africa, where an ancient, secret potion promises to give her back her youth and beauty. Edward Dein's film treats that promise as a trade with a price: each dose works only for a while, and she needs another.
