The Legend of 1900

“An epic story of a man who could do anything... except be ordinary”

On New Year's Day, 1900, an infant is found in a fruit crate in the first-class dining room of the ocean liner SS Virginian. Danny Boodman, a coal-man from the boiler room, keeps the boy and names him Danny Boodman T.D. Lemon 1900. Giuseppe Tornatore frames it through Max Tooney (Pruitt Taylor Vince), a trumpeter selling his horn, while the foundling who grows up to be a pianist, 1900 (Tim Roth), never sets foot on land.
