The Legend

Fong Sai-Yuk (Jet Li) is a Canton kung fu fighter who has fallen for Ting Ting (Michele Reis), the daughter of a rich merchant, and he means to win her. Trouble comes with the Governor of Kau Man (Vincent Zhao Wenzhuo), sent by the Manchu Emperor to hunt down the Red Lotus Flower Society's member list. Corey Yuen keeps the fights quick and loose, with Josephine Siao as Sai-Yuk's mother in the thick of them, and a young man's crush runs straight into a rebellion.
