The Legend of Kaspar Hauser

Kaspar Hauser (Silvia Calderoni) washes up on a deserted Mediterranean beach, in a time and place the film never names. Davide Manuli gathers a small cast around the arrival, including a Pusher who is also the Sheriff (Vincent Gallo) and a Grand Duchess (Claudia Gerini) who feels the stranger threatens her hold on the community. Between Kaspar and the Duchess sits a plain, uneasy question of who has power over whom.
