The Legend of Rita

Rita Vogt (Bibiana Beglau) is a West German militant who wants out of the revolution and a quiet life under another name. The East German secret service gives her that name and a job in the East, and Volker Schlöndorff follows her as she learns to be an ordinary worker. She keeps a coat on and her voice low, listening for every footstep behind her.
