“Always be yourself... unless you can be Batman.”

Batman (Will Arnett) has been the best at everything in Gotham for so long that he has stopped needing anyone, and he likes it that way. Then Bruce Wayne signs a form without reading it and ends up with a cheerful teenage orphan, Dick Grayson (Michael Cera), who wants to be his sidekick. Chris McKay's film, built from Lego bricks, keeps coming back to one plain idea: you can't do this alone.
