The Librarian: Quest for the Spear

Flynn Carsen (Noah Wyle) is a perpetual student who wants nothing more than another degree, until he lands a job guarding artifacts of untold power in a hidden Library beneath New York. When the Spear of Destiny is stolen, Flynn leaves the stacks and sets out around the globe with Nicole Noone (Sonya Walger). Director Peter Winther treats the book-smart man out of his depth as a real hero, and the film's whole bet is that knowing things can be a kind of courage.
