The Lie

“It was an accident.”

Jay Logan (Peter Sarsgaard) is driving his daughter Kayla (Joey King) to dance camp when they pass her best friend standing alone on the side of the road. They pull over to offer a ride, and that small kindness leads to terrible consequences none of them can take back. Veena Sud follows the Logan household as Jay and Rebecca (Mireille Enos) are pushed to decide how much they will do to protect their child.
