The Life of David Gale

“The crime is clear. The truth is not.”

David Gale (Kevin Spacey), a college professor who has spent years campaigning against capital punishment, wants one thing now: for a reporter to hear his side before the state puts him to death. Bitsey Bloom (Kate Winslet) is given a few days on death row to interview him, and Alan Parker follows her as she works through what he says about a fellow activist's murder. Spacey sits across the glass in a prison jumpsuit, the same man who once argued against this room.
