The Limey

“Tell him I'm coming.”

Wilson (Terence Stamp), an English career criminal fresh out of prison, flies to Los Angeles to find out how his daughter died. His questions lead to Valentine and the hard men around him, and each answer brings a worse beating than the last. Soderbergh cuts the story into pieces, but Wilson stays in front of us, older and polite, and in no mood to be talked out of it.
