The Linguini Incident

“He wants to be tied down. She wants to be tied up. It's not what you think.”

Lucy (Rosanna Arquette) is a waitress at a New York restaurant, and she has a plan to rob the place with Monte (David Bowie), the barman, and Vivian (Eszter Balint), who designs underwear. Richard Shepard sets the heist among the restaurant's staff and the downtown crowd around them, played with a straight face. The title comes from linguini, a pasta, and the noodles stay on the plate.
