The Lion Has Seven Heads

Marlene (Rada Rassimov) is a European in Brazzaville who wants the new government of an African country to be run her way, and she has allies in a CIA man and a Portuguese colonist. Glauber Rocha, shooting in the Congo during his exile, sets a white-robed Preacher (Jean-Pierre Léaud) wandering the land to sermonize while a revolutionary group marches in exile. Pablo (Giulio Brogi) is drawn into the plotting, and he and Marlene end up bound to each other by it.
