The Lion King 1½

“You don't know the ½ of it!”

Everyone knows how Simba's story went, but nobody ever asked where Timon (Nathan Lane) and Pumbaa (Ernie Sabella) were standing while it happened. Bradley Raymond goes back before the first film to a meerkat who can't stand digging tunnels, even as his mother (Julie Kavner) and Uncle Max (Jerry Stiller) beg him to stay. Timon leaves home looking for a place of his own, and the warthog he meets along the way becomes the friend he never leaves.
