The Little Girl Who Lives Down the Lane

“Ask her no questions, she'll tell you no lies. Ask her too many and somebody dies.”

Whenever the landlady comes asking after her father, thirteen-year-old Rynn Jacobs (Jodie Foster) says he is busy and cannot come to the door. Her son Frank Hallet (Martin Sheen) starts turning up at the house on his own, and Nicolas Gessner keeps the camera in the small rooms of Rynn's rented home. Mario Podesta (Scott Jacoby) is the only person she lets in, and a house that cannot take a visitor has a great deal to lose.
