“Every Tale Has A Beginning, But Only One Begins Under The Sea”

Ariel (Jodi Benson) sets out with her friends Flounder and Sebastian (Samuel E. Wright) to get her father to lift the ban on music in the sea kingdom. Peggy Holmes directs this prequel, set before the story of the 1989 film, in the years after pirates took Ariel's mother from the family. King Triton (Jim Cummings) has stopped all singing, and the girl who loved it most is left arguing with him about it.
