“Return to the sea.”

Melody (Tara Strong), the young daughter of Ariel and Prince Eric, has never been told why the sea keeps pulling at her. Her parents hide her mermaid heritage to keep her safe from Morgana (Pat Carroll), the Sea Witch's younger sister, but Melody slips into the water anyway and meets new friends. Jim Kammerud's film follows her there, with Ariel (Jodi Benson) and Sebastian (Samuel E. Wright) close behind.
