The Little Polar Bear

(2001)Directed by Piet De Rycker, Thilo Rothkirch78 min · GAnimation, Family, Fantasy

Young Lars (Mijail Verona), a polar bear cub, sets out across the ice and falls in with Robbie, a seal he has no business befriending. Thilo Rothkirch and Piet De Rycker adapt the German children's books about him, and Lars is the kind of bear who just wants a pal. Whether a bear and a seal can really stay friends out there, with their different ways and different kinds, is what rides on every step.
