The Little Prince

“The entertainment that loves a lot, and lives a lot, and gives and gives and gives a lot.”

The Pilot (Richard Kiley) makes an emergency landing in the Sahara Desert and finds himself stranded far from anyone. A small boy turns up beside the wreck, the Little Prince (Steven Warner), a visitor from another planet who wants a sheep drawn for him. Stanley Donen sets the stories of the Prince's travels to songs by Lerner and Loewe, and Gene Wilder's Fox and Bob Fosse's Snake make the desert feel crowded.
