The Little Things

“Some things never let us go.”

In early 1990s Los Angeles, Deputy Sheriff Joe "Deke" Deacon (Denzel Washington) drives in on a routine errand and gets pulled into a hunt for a serial killer. Sgt. Jim Baxter (Rami Malek) leads the case, and he lets the older man work beside him. John Lee Hancock sets the two side by side through long nights of detail work, while Baxter does not see what the search is stirring up in Deke.
