The Living End

“An irresponsible movie by Gregg Araki.”

Jon (Craig Gilmore), a film critic who has just learned he is HIV-positive, wants to feel alive before his time runs out. He finds that in Luke (Mike Dytri), a hustler with the same diagnosis and no interest in rules, and the two leave town together after one of them kills a police officer. Gregg Araki keeps them in the car and on the road, where each leans on the other.
